Guiding EOS adoption and accountability rhythms
Organization / Context
SB Comm, Inc.
Challenge
As SB Comm grew, the business needed greater clarity around leadership responsibilities, accountability, priorities, and execution. During this period, the company adopted the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), creating a framework for building greater organizational discipline and consistency.
My Role
My responsibilities grew alongside the organization and its EOS journey. I progressed from Coordinator to Operations Manager and ultimately to Integrator, taking on increasing responsibility for connecting leadership priorities to day-to-day execution. As Integrator, I helped reinforce the operating rhythms, accountability, and cross-functional coordination that supported the company through its EOS journey and ultimately helped lead the organization to EOS graduation.
What I Changed
- Used weekly leadership and operations meetings to review quarterly priorities, surface issues, and assign follow-up.
- Helped refine scorecard discussions toward measures connected to core processes and activities the team could influence.
- Connected leadership decisions with departmental communication, including named owners for cascading messages and process updates.
- Supported shared process documentation and training follow-up so operating changes could be communicated to the people doing the work.
- Helped strengthen organizational discipline around EOS tools and operating practices as the company matured toward EOS graduation.
Results / Evidence
- Weekly agendas provided a repeatable structure for scorecard review, quarterly-priority updates, action ownership, issue resolution, and cascading messages.
- Meeting records show issues moving between leadership, finance, and operations with explicit responsibilities and next steps.
- Process updates and communication follow-up gave leadership decisions a documented connection to day-to-day work.
- My progression from Coordinator to Operations Manager to Integrator provided firsthand experience with both sides of operational change—working within the systems being built and later helping lead and reinforce them, ultimately helping guide SB Comm through EOS graduation.
